Biography

A practice shaped by lived experience

Diana Rubin came to the United States as a refugee from a former Soviet republic. That experience — the uncertainty, the paperwork, the fear of a decision made by someone who has never met you — is the reason she practices immigration law today. She founded the Law Office of Diana Rubin to give clients the advocate she once needed: prepared, reachable, and unwilling to treat a case as routine.

She graduated from Touro Law Center in 2012 and was admitted to practice in New York in 2013. Since then she has represented clients in asylum and removal proceedings, bond and detention matters, appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals, and federal habeas corpus and mandamus litigation. Alongside her immigration practice, she litigates commercial, real estate, and civil disputes for business owners and property owners throughout the state.

Diana is a mother of four. She understands what is at stake when a family's future depends on a single hearing, and she prepares every case accordingly — reviewing the record line by line, corroborating each material fact, and preparing clients thoroughly before they ever face a judge.
